Migraine
Summary
Causes
Migraine is a chronic neurovascular disease and the pathogenesis of migraine is not fully understood. Common predisposing factors include: natural environmental factors (visual stimuli such as glare and flicker, odor, weather changes), sleep-related factors (insufficient sleep, excessive sleep), irregular diet, etc.
Symptions
Migraine attacks can be divided into four phases: prodromal, aura, headache, and recovery. Not all patients or all episodes have the above four phases. The same patient can have different types of migraine attacks.
Treatment
Maintain a healthy lifestyle, identify and avoid headache-inducing factors, and make full use of non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatments. Pharmacological treatments include acute treatment and preventive treatment. Pay attention to their evidence-based use.
